✦ Synopsis

Tricarbonyl(trimethylsiloxy-l,3-cyclohexadien)iron complexes, 2 and 5, react with triphenylmethyl tetrafluoroborate by elimination of both,hydride and the trimethylsilyl group,to give 2 and 10. The tricarbonyl(l,3-cyclohexadienyl)iron salt, 11, resulting from hydrolysis of 2, reacts with nucleophiles to afford 5-substituted tricarbonyl(2-hydroxy-1,3-cyclohexadien)iron complexes, 12. -Tricarbonyl-1,3-cyclohexadien-eisen-Komplexe haben in den letzten Jahren zunehmend Bedeutung in der Synthese erlangt, da sie durch Hydridabstraktio,, leicht in die durch die Fe(C0)3 -Gruppe stabilisierten Cyclohexadienyl-Kationen zu iiberfiihren sind, die mit den verschiedensten Anionen stereo-und regiospezi-
