Abstract

Chinaaldehyd (IV) wird in 4 Schritten aus Chinasäure in 75‐proz. Ausbeute dargestellt. Als α‐Hydroxyaldehyd bildet er eine dimere Form, als λ‐Hydroxyaldehyd bildet er Lactolide und normale Acetale nebeneinander, und in der „Aldehydammoniak”︁‐Verbindung sind offene Aldehyd‐Form und Cyclohalbacetal‐Form im gleichen Molekül vereinigt.
