My new friends were…different. That’s the only way I could explain the two women I literally ran into at the grocery store. Typically shy and withdrawn, I found myself wanting to know about them. How was I supposed to know that an impulsive invite to dinner would turn my life upside down?

With no one able to help me, but a strange man named Alistair, I found myself going on an adventure of my own, and sucked into a world ripped straight from the pages of a best-selling novel. Soon I doubted everything I’d ever thought to be real. Finding myself strangely attracted to the dark and mysterious man I knew nothing about, I was drawn to his quiet demeanor and willing to entrust him with my life. Could he help me save my friends? Or was it too late?
