He finds that an evil force has taken over his creation, and unless he steps in and takes control, there will be little left. Christopher Lane's steady narration is a strong foundation for this fast-moving tale. His slightly disbelieving tone sits well on Rod, who is still not sure why he finds himself in a fantasy world of his own making.
