✦ Synopsis

Cyclic acquired amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenic purpura (AATP) is a rare disorder characterized by periodic fluctuations in the platelet counts due to a defect in the platelet production. The pathogenesis of the disease and the possible mechanisms of danazol action have been reviewed. Am.
