An origin of superconductivity in YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7Àd is discussed by considering the two dimensional electron and hole systems. In particular, the mechanism to have two peaks where d takes the two value of 1/10 and 1/6 is discussed.
The temperature and composition dependence of reflection spectra in the long wavelength infrared range are presented for the high-T, superconducting alloy YBa,(Cu,\_,Zn,),O,\_, where x=O%, 3% and 4%. We have observed that the far-infrared reflectivity decreases and some interesting photon features a
