The chemical composition of the essential oils of Salvia nemorosa L. and Salvia reuterana Boiss. growing wild in Iran were examined by GC and GCยฑMS. Thirty-one components were characterized for S. nemorosa with b-caryophyllene (41.6%), germacrene-B (21.3%), caryophyllene oxide (6.8%), cis-b-farnesen
