✦ Synopsis

Mixed aminotroponiminate ([ATI] Οͺ ) cyclopentadienyl complexes were prepared using two different synthetic routes. Reaction of [[(iPr) 2 ATI]YCl 2 (THF) 2 ] 2 (1) with KCp* (Cp* = C 5 Me 5 ) or Li[C 5 H 3 (SiMe 3 ) 2 ] affords [(iPr) 2 ATI]YCp 2 * (2a) and [(iPr) 2 ATI]Y[C 5 H 3 (SiMe 3 ) 2 ] 2 (2b), respectively. Moreover, [(iPr) 2 ATI]YCp 2 * has also been obtained from the reaction of Cp 2 *Y(Β΅-Cl) 2 Li(OEt 2 ) 2 (3) and [(iPr) 2 ATI]K. The single crystal
