## Abstract The new 8โ€azapurinโ€6โ€ones **3** and the corresponding 8โ€azapurinโ€6โ€imines **4** are prepared by cyclocondensation of ethyl 5โ€acetylaminoโ€1__H__โ€1,2,3โ€triazoleโ€4โ€carboxylates **2** with amine hydrochlorides in the presence of phosphorus pentoxide and __N__,__N__โ€dimethylcyclohexylamine.
