## Synthesis and characterization of sodium tetra-psulfonatophenylporphinatorhodium(III) (Rh(Ill)-TPPS) is reported. Equilibrium constants for the reactions Rh(III)TPPS + SCN = [Rh(III)TPPS-(SCN)], and Rh(III/TPPS + CN = [Rh(III)TPPS-(CN)] have been determined to be 39M-' and 1880-M-' respectively.

## Abstract Cyclopropyl cyanide isomerizes in the gas phase at 660°–760°K and 2–89 torr to give mainly __cis__‐ and __trans__‐crotonitrile and allyl cyanide, with traces of methacrylonitrile. The reactions are first order, homogeneous, and unaffected by the presence of radical‐chain inhibitors. The
The reaction of mercury(II) hydroxide with 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octabromo-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin, [Formula: see text]( H ~2~P^4−^), to form the mercury(II) porphyrin [( TPPSBr ~8~) Hg ]^4−^( HgP ^4−^) was investigated in the pH range 6.2-8.5. The observed rate constant was fi

## Abstract The kinetics of reversible complexation of oxalatopentaammine cobalt(III) with Ni^2+^ has been investigated in MeOH + water media (0–50 (v/v) % MeOH) at 15.0–35.0°C and I = 0.10 mol dm^−3^. Analysis of rate data indicates that the monobonded complex [(NH~3~)~5~ · CoOCOCO~2~Ni]^3+^ in wh
