Cladophialophora bantiana (Xylohypha bantiana, Cladosporium trichoides), a dematiaceous fungus, causes mainly infections of the central nervous system. Systemic antifungal therapy is apparently unsuccessful. Extracerebral involvement is uncommon and only few cases have been reported. We describe a 6
