## Abstract Proteins containing gammaβcarboxyglutamic acid (Gla) are present in subcutaneous calcifications of adults with dermatomyositis or scleroderma. Sixteen children with juvenile dermatomyositis, including 7 with subcutaneous calcifications, were studied to determine if abnormal synthesis or
