Most children with Wilms' tumor can now expect remarkably good survival. Current protocols have placed greater emphasis on reducing the morbidity of treatment for low-risk patients reserving intensive treatment for selected high-risk patients. This review addresses recent advances and current recommendations for the treatment of nephroblastoma.
