## Abstract Berberine has been shown to have antiβcarcinogenic effects. Since p53 is the most commonly mutated tumor suppressor gene, and a lack of functional p53 is associated with an increased risk of cancer development, we examined the effects of berberine on p53βpositive and p53βdeficient nonβs
