More fine work is already well along in the editorial process, including innovative writing on cultural studies of biosciences, biomedicine and biotechnologies, culture and psychiatric diagnosis, medical and psychiatric institutions in poor societies, disability, infectious diseases, narrativity and embodiment, and much more. Backlogs for publication are relatively short at this time, and we look forward to your continuing contributions. We also welcome suggestions for new ways to bring lively debates and vital ideas into the pages of the journal. As editors, we rely totally on authors and the scholarly community to provide their very best work. In turn, we commit ourselves to continue our stewardship in our remaining time as editors.
