✦ Synopsis
Block copoly(ether ester) based on poly(tetramethy1ene terephthalate), (PBT) and on poly(oxytetramethy1ene) crystallizes under separation into a pure crystalline ester phase with a-PBT structure and a mixed amorphous phase. The c h n n q c s o f t h c nornholon'r i n f l u r e d I ) v annealing are investigated by small angle X-ray scattering .nethods. The observed results are consistent with a lamellar model which is comprised.of a crystalline core of thickness 3joto 45 A, a diffuse boundary zone of width 9 A, and an amorphous layer which is varying strongly in thickness. As is shown by use of model block copolyesters, where the ester and ether segments are essentially monodisperse, the molecular weight distribution of the blocks does not influence the crystallization behaviour as long as the ether blocks are not shorter than 4 oxytetramethylene units.

## Abstract Summary: Various crystalline textures have been identified in a crystallizable block copolymer system, polystyrene‐__block__‐[syndiotactic poly(propylene)] (PS‐sPP), having a glass‐transition temperature of PS (__T__~g,PS~) located in the midst of the sPP crystallization window. A confi
