✦ Synopsis
The crystal structure of DySr2Cu2.7Mo0.3O7.2 and DySr2Cu2.7Cr0.3O7.2 was solved by the X-ray powder diffraction method. The space group of DySr2Cu2.7Mo0.3O7.2 (Mr ؍ 653.29) is P4/mmm, with lattice parameters a ؍ 3.8262(1) A s , c ؍ 11.5492(2) A s , and Z ؍ 1. The space group of DySr2Cu2.7Cr0.3O7.2 (Mr ؍ 640.11) is P4/mmm, with lattice parameters a ؍ 3.8531(1) A s , c ؍ 11.3804(2) A s , and Z ؍ 1. Rietveld refinement results in the discrepancy factors RB ؍ 7.93 and Rwp ؍ 3.76 for the Mo compound and RB ؍ 9.76 and Rwp ؍ 4.07 for the Cr compound.
