The crystal structure of \(\mathrm{Li}_{2} \mathrm{TiSiO}_{5}\) was solved at \(20^{\circ} \mathrm{C}\) in the tetragonal space group \(P 4 / n \mathrm{~mm}\) with unit cell parameters \(a=\) \(6.444(3) \AA, c=4.399(2) \AA, V=182.67 \AA^{3}, D_{c}=3.09 \mathrm{~g} \mathrm{~cm}^{-3}\) and \(Z=2\). **The first single crystals of As~2~O~5~** have now been obtained by annealing amorphous As~2~O~5~ under oxygen excess pressure and with careful exclusion of moisture. They were suitable for X‐ray structure analysis.
