Single crystals of Yb, Nd: KLu(WO 4 ) 2 (Yb, Nd: KLW) of dimensions up to 40mmΓ— 40mmΓ—5mm have been grown by top-seeded solution growth (TSSG) method. X-ray powder diffraction pattern was measured and compared with that of Nd: KLuW and Yb: KLuW. Absorption and fluorescence spectra were measured at ro
