Single crystals of diluted magnetic semiconductor Cd 1Àx Mn x In 2 Te 4 with x ¼ 0:1; 0.22 and 0.4 were grown by the Bridgman method. Several regions composed of a þ b 1 ; a þ b þ b 1 ; b and In 2 Te 3 +Te phases were found to crystallize in orders due to the solute partition at the growth interface
