## Abstract Ten patients with rectal tumours were treated by cryosurgery. Good palliation without local complications was achieved in the cases of rectal carcinoma and a complete cure followed treatment of benign rectal tumours. Low rectal carcinomas with clinical evidence of dissemination are idea
