Shoot tips isolated from a mint clone, Mentha aquatica x M. spicata, were gradually exposed to a mixture containing 35% ethylene glycol, 1 M dimethylsulfoxide and 10% polyethylene glycol-8000 and then immersed into liquid nitrogen. Cooling and warming rates were approximately 4800ยฐC/min and 9000ยฐC/m
