Gland packing range added to catalogue

Farnell has added its Klinger range of gland packings to its Industrial catalogue.

The Klinger range includes seven types of gland packing material and is available in sizes to suit most pump and valve equipment.

Klinger's q]cpe 10 gland packing is highly versatile, and is suitable for sealing a wide range of media, including water, petroleum and weak acids. It is available in a range of sizes and is flexible and clean to handle.

The Type 3222 offers good chemical resistance and high temperature capability, for all round good perfbrmance in valves and pumps. Type 11 gland packing is suitable for use as a high temperature substitute to asbestos. Graphited and lubricated, this type is able to withstand temperatures of fluids up to 300 °C.
