The mechanical behaviour of a thick-walled carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) structure has been investigated at room and cryogenic temperatures. Important cryogenic material properties like the interlaminar shear strength, the ultimate tensile strength, strain and modulus, and the fatigue behaviour have been studied and the results compared with literature data.
