From the Author
So I started the novel, Crushed, several years ago between various ventures. I have been working at it solid now for four months.
I wrote the book because I really felt that so many marriages that passed their reasonable expiration date were deemed failures. And just because they no longer wanted to live and love together didn't mean it hadn't been good nor could they forge a different kind of relationship.
None of the characters are real, of course, but there are many idiosyncrasies in various characters based on people I know and love.
My favorite character to write was probably Gigi. As is discovered later in the book her background is nothing like how she carries herself. She's a ditz, for sure, but I love how she cares about her friends.
Many people have suggested that there should be a place like the spa Grace attends which is called Finedale. Please chime in especially after you've read the full book since there are a few relevant details that surface at the end.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out. I hope you enjoy Crushed!
