Chemihnninescent spectra of nitrogen dioxide in the visiile region have been observed in the 0 f NO elementary reaction by a crossed beam technique\_ Dependences of the emission intensity on both the nitric oxide and atomic oxygen fluxintensities were fti order, and the emission was concentrated nea

β¦ Synopsis
spectra from reactions of Ba and Ca with NO3 and NsO were observed and L6 bands were assigned to the BaOA 1.E -X lZ system for Ba+ NO2. From this. a lower limit of 5.74 eV (133 kcal/mole) is placed on the BaO ground state dissociation energy. Ba+ N20 bows large angle nonreactive scattering while Ba+ NO2 reacts at every collision (cross section 2 150 x 2). An electron jump mechanism is proposed.
