✦ Synopsis

Cross metathesis reactions of g,d-unsaturated carbene complexes have been explored. Successful cross metathesis was observed in cases involving electron neutral alkenes and allylic ether/ester derivatives. Attempted metathesis reactions using ethyl acrylate were not competitive with cyclopropanation reactions.
