β¦ Synopsis
Families can be closeβ¦
And sometimes murderers can be closer.
Josslyn βJossβ Rockwell, career waitress at the Day and Night Diner, and amateur sleuth, is excited about moving into her new home, but is staying at a local motel until she can finally close and get the keys.
The motel is filled to the brim with a gigantic family, who is in town for a family reunion celebration. The boisterous bunch seems kind and welcomes Joss as one of their own.
When one of the young, healthy family members doesnβt answer her door or phone, the sad discovery is made that she seems to have died from a heart attack. Since everyone has been so kind, Joss feels compelled to console the family, but realizes that sheβs dealing with more than she can handle when she finds out the woman was poisoned.
The family, locals, and other guests, are suspects in the murder and Joss needs to find out who is responsible, before more lives in the family are destroyed.
With suspects around every corner, and a family filled with secrets, Joss is determined to solve the crime and help the family pick up the pieces.
Is the killer closer than she might imagine?
