✦ Synopsis

Creep deflections in membrane shells are analysed in this report. Governing equations are developed in detail for shells with one in/~nitely large radius of curvature, and for circumferentially closed shells of revolution. For illustration, solutions are obtained for a circular cone under wind load; a cycloidal vault under uniform dead load; and a hemispherical cap under wind load.
