The following chapters deal with the normal anatomy of the posterior fossa and the pathological conditions that can occur in this region. The chapter on the normal anatomy is very well illustrated by placing CT and MRI images alongside anatomical sections at the same level. It is unfortunate that, in this chapter, as with other chapters, many of the MRI images are of relatively poor quality compared with what is possible with state of the art equipment in 1988.
