Typical and clear alpha tracks can be observed with • micrmeops. The relatizmh/p between alpha track dendW and rad~ aeoumulation eoncentrat/on is proportional (r>0. 9990). The calibratica effleleaclas of two hatches of CR--39 chips are 5. 54 and 5.79 tracks cm -I per kBq m -8 h, respectively. With one month expmu~ in air, the detection limit is 7. 0 Bq m -s and standard deviatiou of the method is lem than 15~/~.
