Abstract

The cover shows the 3D‐FIB reconstruction of an AlSi8Mg5 alloy with: AlFeSiMg aluminides (red), Mg~2~Si Chinese script (yellow∥, and Si lamellae (cyan/Al‐transparent). The “tomograph” was obtained using SE‐images for drawing the particle contours and low resolution EDS maps for phase identification (analyzed volume [xyz] = 14.0 × 7.9 × 7.0 μm^3^).
