✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Raman spectroscopy has been used in this study to obtain biochemical fingerprint patterns of collagen fibers in native aortic heart valve tissues. Using this non‐contact screening tool, we were able to monitor the increasing damage of collagen fibers due to enzymatic treatment or cryopreservation. (Picture: M.
