Single‐crystal nanoflowers …︁…︁ (shown in the cover picture) are grown by a general approach called limited ligand protection (LLP). LLP destabilizes the primary nanoparticles and promotes their three‐dimensionally oriented attachment into complex nanostructures. LLP offers a low degree of ligand protection and can be used to yield both nanodots and nanoflowers. For more information see the Communication by X. Peng and co‐workers on page 5361 ff.
