The coupling of cell-centered finite volume method with primal discontinuous Galerkin method is introduced in this paper for elliptic problems. Convergence of the method with respect to the mesh size is proved. Numerical examples confirm the theoretical rates of convergence. Advantages of the couple

## Abstract The analysis of structures with complex geometries leads to the use of three‐dimensional numerical methods. Such devices can be unmanageable unless a segmentation technique is applied. In this work, a hybrid 3D finite‐element‐mode matching method, based on the generalized admittance mat
## Abstract In this letter, a high order accurate FDTD method is proposed, in which a fourth‐order accurate staggered backward differentiation integrator is used for time marching and a new finite difference scheme named the optimal central finite difference scheme is used for spatial discretizatio
