## Abstract The corrosion of Al in NaOH solutions has been investigated using polarization method as well as weight loss method. The effect of various organic and inorganic compounds on the rate of corrosion was studied. The results indicated that the rate of Al corrosion is maximum at [NaOH] βΌ4M.
Fretting induced corrosion occurring at the tube-grid contact is a very important problem for cladding materials and ion implantation has been considered an effective technology capable of improving the corrosion resistance of fuel cladding material without noticeably changing in dimensional integri
