The caption for Fig. 7 should read as follows: Fig. 7. Each of these three figures shows four different isorotational curves (a curve where all the points have the same rotational selection rule and the same vibrational sequence) that comprise two parabolas (one wide and one narrow). The constants used for these three cases are as follows: (a) Be 0 (1.0 cm À1 ) < Be 00 (1.634367 cm À1 ); (b) Chen and Joyner [7] values of Be 0 (1.752593 cm À1 ) > Be 00 (1.634367 cm À1 ); and (c) Be 0 = Be 00 (1.752593 cm À1 ).
The statements at the top of p. 27 should read as follows:
If Be 0 < Be 00 , then parabola extends towards smaller frequencies with Increasing J. If Be 0 > Be 00 , then parabola extends towards larger frequencies with increasing J.
If Be 0 = Be 00 , then the resulting pattern resembles a cross.
