Mr. John Dickerman has compared my observations of Swift's comet 1895 11, published in A. N. 3373, with an ephemeris computed from Schulhof's orbit, and thus brought to light a few errors. On Aug. 29 for Aa read 6mof68 instead of 6"'2f94. The comet was directly compared with a faint star which was 1f13 preceding it, according to a A d der Marineeternwarte in Nicolaiew.
