โฆ Synopsis
This paper shows for the first time the similarities between many published correlations for turbulent drag reduction. It also represents fresh evidence to support the concept of a maximum drag reduction assymptote. A simple correlation is developed for use in a scale up process for flow of dilute polymer solutions in smooth pipes.
