✦ Synopsis
A series of experiments was carried out to investigate which of the M,O, type (x, y= 1,2,3) oxide species (clusters) are formed by the various Group 111 elements. A correlation has been found between the propensity to forming the above oxides and the secondary (vertical) change in the chemical behaviour of the elements in question.
