Ancw version of correlated effectivcdicld theor} is applied to a study of lhc spin-one lsing models, namely the Blume Capel and Blumc Kmcrv Griffiths models, tlSHlg tile l-tomnura Kaneyoshi differential operator technique. This method is illustrated in a honeycomb lattice by investigating the phase diagram, lhc magnelization, lh¢ correlalcd effective-field paramc 1¢I and the short-range order parameter. The theory correcllv accotlllts lot really physical quantities and leads to results lhal are quite supcrior, and in some a,;pccls different, 1o those of the previous works.
