β¦ Synopsis
The double star A. 46 was discovered and measured on one night with the 1 2 inch telescope in 1898 (see A. N. 3585) before I began a systematic search for new pairs, and was included in my first list (A. N. 3635) without additional measures. Recently I looked the star up, and found that it had been incorrectly identified and also that the brighter component was itself a very close double.
