Abstract
Es wird ein herzwirksames Aglykon, das Corchortoxin, aus Jute‐Samen (Corchorus capsularis) beschrieben, welches die Zusammensetzung C~23~H~32~O~6~ besitzt. Es handelt sich um ein Genin der Digitalis‐Gruppe mit wahrscheinlich 4 Hydroxylen. Ein Tetrahydro‐corchortoxin, das Monoacetyl‐corchortoxin und das Isocorchortoxin wurden aus ihm hergestellt.
