β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
In this study, a coplanar waveguideβfed bandβselective filter and a spiral slot antenna have been designed, fabricated, and integrated for the applications of multisystem integration. The antenna module was fabricated on the same plane of the substrate, so that the circuit process and the position alignment could be simplified. The passband responses of the filter ranging below 2.6 GHz and from 5.0 to 6.0 GHz cover most of the commercial wireless communication systems. Simulated results are compared with measurements performed on the antenna module. Β© 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, a novel and successful design of ultraβwideband folded loop antenna is proposed and investigated. The antenna is fed by coplanar waveguide directly and can be fabricated easily by employing printed circuit board technology. It is studied both numerically and experimenta
## Abstract A wideband coplanar waveguide (CPW)βfed monopole antenna is presented, which is derived from a dual foldedβstrip antenna. By meandering the folded strips, good antenna performances such as wideband with 4.07 GHz, defined from β10 dB return loss, average gain of β₯4.5 dBi, and stable mono
## Abstract A small multiβslot antenna is designed for RF and microwave sensors and radar applications. The design was realized using a series of parallel slots with tapered lengths, fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) to support wideband operation. The designed multiβslot antenna provides a 50% band
