Abstract

We assessed the use of coping strategies in Parkinson's disease patients with visual hallucinations, using a semi‐structured questionnaire. We found that 36 of our 46 Parkinson's disease subjects with hallucinations (78%) used coping strategies: cognitive techniques in 69%; interactive techniques in 62%; and visual techniques in 33%. © 2003 Movement Disorder Society
