This meeting marks the Third Cambridge Workshop devoted to aspects of Cool Stars. The Organizing Committee structured the meeting with the theme of stellar evolution - beginning with pre-main sequence stars, discussing main sequence evolution and then addressing the post-main sequence red giant phase. This continuity was enriched with the participation of scientists from many subdisciplines of astronomy and astrophysics - all bearing new results, analysis, and conjectures!
