✦ Synopsis

We describe herein a new amination procedure of weakly activated heterocyclic bmmo derivatives in aqueous media. The base catalysed mechanism of this reaction is also confirmed. Moreover, the application of this strategy to the preparation of amino furans and selenophenes is outlined.
