## Abstract Si nanostructures are prepared by thermal annealing of silicon rich oxide (SRO) which is deposited using low pressure (LP) CVD. X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) are used to characterize the structure of t
