A juvenile hormone-binding protein (JHBP) has been identified in nuclear extracts of the long hyaline tubules (LHT) from the male accessory reproductive glands of Melanoplus sanguinipes. The protein (M, 31,000) has a high affinity for J H Ill, which it binds preferentially over JH I. The JHBP is abs
