✦ Synopsis

A locally optimized theory' was applied to a laser control of a two-dimensional unimolecular rcaction of a triatomic molecule. This molecule is characterized by dissociation and isomeritation channels. The isomeri:,ation is shown to be a dominant reaction by applying a sequence of pulses. To scc ho~ the isomerization is controlled, we analyz.ed the time variation of the reaction by using a nuclear wave-packet theory.
